1. Enrolment and payment
Students must complete the required registration information and provide valid identification. Full payment is due before the first lesson unless Canada Drivers approves a payment plan.
2. Cancellation and rescheduling
Lessons must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Less than 24 hours’ notice or a no-show may result in a charge of $50 per scheduled hour or forfeiture of the appointment. Genuine emergencies may be considered individually. Canada Drivers may reschedule because of instructor illness, vehicle problems, unsafe weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
3. Attendance and punctuality
Students must arrive on time and bring their valid G1 licence and any required eyeglasses or contact lenses. Late arrival may shorten the lesson. Repeated lateness may lead to extra charges or termination of enrolment.
4. Conduct and behaviour
Students must treat instructors, staff and others respectfully. Aggressive, abusive, dishonest, harassing or unsafe behaviour may result in immediate termination without a refund.
5. Vehicle use and safety
School vehicles must be treated carefully. A student may be responsible for damage caused by negligence or misconduct. Students must obey traffic laws and instructor directions. Unsafe conduct may end a lesson or course.
6. Refunds
Refund requests are reviewed individually and may be subject to administrative fees when submitted within 30 days of the initial registration. No refund will be considered after 30 days, and completed lessons are non-refundable.
7. Privacy
Student information is used to deliver training and complete related administration. Canada Drivers will not share personal information without consent except where required by law or necessary to administer the program.
8. BDE completion and certification
All theory, flexible learning and in-car requirements must be completed within 365 days of the course start date. A minimum grade of 70% is required on theory assignments, quizzes and tests and on the final in-car evaluation. Completion does not guarantee success on a government road test.
Certification may be denied when required hours are not completed on time or required assessments are not passed. Ontario schools certify completion electronically; students who need proof may request a Driver’s Licence History from ServiceOntario. Services are not honoured after the program deadline.
9. Policy of behaviour
Students are expected to participate responsibly, arrive prepared, follow safety instructions and act honestly. Substance use, cheating or behaviour that compromises safety is prohibited.
10. Amendments and contact
Canada Drivers may update these terms when operational or regulatory requirements change. Significant changes will be communicated where appropriate. Questions may be sent to info@canadadrivers.ca or discussed by calling (613) 699-0699.
